Aids Walk '08 NYC

At the catty shack on friday I was asked to sign up for the Aids Walk. Of course I said yes because a.I never participate in any kinds of activism but I always mean to and b. i was mildly intoxicated. Anyway I'll be walking with the Lesbian Mafia on May 18th in NYC. Smidge and I will both be walking and each of us want to raise at least 200. Six miles isn't too far, right? I have no frame of reference. I think I'm going to start "practicing" walking until then. It'd be really embarassing if I couldn't walk the whole thing. But some of the other people on the team smoke and drink a lot. I'm just hoping theres someone else who brings beer in thier nalgene.

I hope they come to this years aids walk. I <3 Storm Troopers!
